Peter Fuszard is an Emmy Award winning DP and Director who has been making commercials, action sports films and documentaries since 1989. His clients include Acura, Bank of America, Ford, Honda, Phillips 66, and Callaway Golf, among others.

 

Since 1998, Pete has been working with Beyond Pix shooting and directing 35mm film and television, including HD formats.  During 2005 and 2006, Pete has worked on Beyond Pix projects for clients including Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Elizabeth Arden, Yahoo!, Starz Entertainment, MoneyTrack, Landor Associates, Microsoft, Autodesk, Clear Ink, Maxtor and the Loomis Group.

 

Fuszard¹s documentary television credits include the ³Tow-in World Cup².

This film for worldwide broadcast featured the largest surfing contest ever held. Often no more than 10 feet off the water in a helicopter with 65 foot waves towering above him, Pete won the praise of Surfer Magazine who called his work, "one of the most brilliantly executed pieces of surf cinematography ever."

 

For "Summit to Sea", he climbed Kilimanjaro and trekked on foot to the Indian Ocean. The crew encountered all manner of African wildlife at close range and were charged by Elephants twice in a single day. Fuszard's work on this project won him an Emmy Award for cinematography.

 

Peter Fuszard grew up surfing in California. His sports interests later widened to include a wide range of mountain and extreme sports. After several years working on sports films he brought his passion for action and human endeavor into commercials.
