Marty Jackson has been involved in video production, editing and encoding for over 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over the years he has created video content for Broadcast, Industrial and Internet venues. Working with: eBay, Yahoo, Google, Bank of America, Sling Media, Open TV, IBM, Oracle, Seagate, Sun, Lucent, Cadence, Synopsis, Acuson, Apple, Levi Strauss, the Exploratorium, the Oakland Museum and the Charles M Schulz Museum, just to name a few.
Marty has always made keeping up with the latest technology and media delivery formats a very high priority. He was one of the first in San Francisco to offer new media encoding services in the early 1990s., and n 1999 he also offered DVD encoding and authoring services as well.
Since 2003 Marty has produced, edited and encoded over 100 video segments that are currently live on the Internet. Most notably; “Rethink Recruiting” a viral promotion piece that he directed, produced and edited. This piece has had more than 20,000,000 downloads to date and has won a Silver Astrid and the British Onrec advertising award.
